The rugged terrain here is as formidable as the vehicles themselves. You’ll be driving upgraded Land Rovers that have been fine-tuned specifically for competition, ensuring you feel the thrill of maneuvering through challenging landscapes. Forget about the standard comforts of a traditional ride; these machines are all about function, featuring roll cages and an open interior designed for serious off-roading. As you tackle tree roots and splash through Welsh mud, rest easy knowing that getting a bit dirty is all part of the excitement!
A helpful tip from the experts: make sure to wear sturdy boots and a rain jacket you’re okay with getting muddy,the perfect attire for a day filled with adventure! South Wales is known for its unpredictable weather, which actually adds to the fun. When it rains, get ready for some thrilling muddy exploits, and if there’s snow, the team will adapt with a swift tyre change to keep the adrenaline flowing.

What's Included
Half Day 4x4 Session (for Two People)
- Drive competition prepared off road trials vehicles based on a Land Rover chassis
- Welcome, introduction and short safety talk
- Tuition from experienced guides to help you navigate the course
- The purpose built course is packed with 90 degree banks, mud pits and slopes and natural obstacles
- You will alternate between driving and riding as a passenger throughout the session
- Share the drive time in the off-road vehicle, driver and passengers swap every 10 minutes or so
- Approximately 1.5 hours
- Sessions start at 10.00 finishing around 13:00
- Light refreshments are provided whilst safety briefing is given at the start of the session
- Photos of the day are provided at the end of the session
When Is It Available
- Selected Saturdays throughout the year (occasional weekdays may be available upon request)
- Groups of 6 or more can be accommodated on alternative days of the week
- Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to sign paperwork
Suitable For
- Suitable for beginners and experienced drivers alike
- A driving licence is not required although due to the technical nature of the activity it is recommended
- No minimum age but drivers must be over 1.5m tall
- Under 18s must be accompanied on site by an adult who will need to sign a disclaimer
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to come and view at their own risk
- There are numerous look out points sit and watch the action, although you must be prepared to walk over rough terrain to some places
Anything Else
- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
- Drinks and snacks can be purchased on site
- Onsite toilets are available
- Drones can be used by prior consent only, go-pros can be added to trucks at their own risk
