Sporting Trials Adventure in Kent

Your journey begins with a specially-built trials car, designed to handle the rugged hills and tricky terrain that await you. As you navigate through the course, you’ll need to apply your timing and control to expertly maneuver over obstacles, keeping your eyes on the prize: reaching the summit without hitting those pesky route markers. Each wrong touch could cost you valuable points, so focus is key!

What's Included

• Get behind the wheel of a competition style 'Sporting Trials' Car
• 1:1 onboard tuition from expert instructors (the boss is a British champion!)
• Tackle the gates marked out on the course whilst ensuring the car maintains momentum
• With limited grip from the tyres, you'll learn the art of balancing the throttle 
• Discover the mysterious 'fiddle brake' and 'bounce' techniques
• Sessions are usually taken as part of a group of three drivers sharing the driving time
• Choose from a 1.5 hour session or a half day session lasting around 3.5 hours 
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time

When Is It Available

• Saturdays throughout the year with other days by arrangement directly with the centre

Suitable For

• Minimum age is 11
• Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• Maximum weight is 20 stone
• If you are extraordinarily tall or short or feel your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity please check with the centre when booking

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome although viewing may be limited
• No dogs aloud on site
• The venue has an indoor meeting space with a vending machine, toilets and changing area
• There is a good range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the town nearby

Anything Else

• The centre will provide all safety equipment but please wear comfortable casual clothing that you don't mind getting dirty
• In wet weather a change of clothes are recommended. Waterproofs are provided
