Your journey begins at the charming Stadhampton village in South Oxfordshire, where you’ll meet your experienced pilot and crew. After a brief safety briefing, you'll ascend into the sky, gently lifting off from the ground. As you rise to an impressive altitude of 2000 feet, prepare to be mesmerized by panoramic views of Oxford, the Chiltern Hills, and the serene English countryside stretching as far as the eye can see.

The flights operate during the early morning or late afternoon, providing the ideal conditions for a peaceful and scenic trip. When Is It Available

• Vouchers are valid for weekdays and weekends from April to October
• Sunrise flights take off approximately one hour after sunrise
• Sunset flights take off around three hours before sunset
• Participants should arrive at least one hour before take-off
• Please note, optimum weather conditions are needed for balloons to be able to safely operate
• If the weather forecast is deemed unsuitable your flight will be rescheduled
• Participants must phone at 10:30 on the evening before for sunrise flights or at 13:00 on the day for sunset flights to check the status of the flight and arrival time

Suitable For

• Minimum age 10
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum height 4ft 8ins (146 cms)
• Not suitable during pregnancy
• Nobody under the influence of alcohol is permitted to fly
• Passengers must be able to stand unassisted for at least an hour, be able to bend their knees to take the seated landing position, follow all instructions given by the pilot and react quickly in the unlikely event of an emergency
• Passengers must be sure they do not have any pre-existing or current medical conditions which could be affected by a hot air balloon flight including but not exclusively recent major surgery
• The basket provides easy access:  Two compartments have doors with just a small step up and down.  The other two compartments have foot holes in the basket to help you climb in and out

• Family and friends are welcome to watch your take-off

Anything Else

• Warm, comfortable layers should be worn
• Comfortable flat shoes (no flip flops, open-toed sandals or high heels)
• Hats or caps are recommended to protect your head from the burners
• If your flight needs to be rescheduled bookings are non-refundable and can be rescheduled only
