What's Included

• Flight simulator experience in a replica Lancaster Bomber cockpit
• Welcome, introduction and briefing
• Learn about the history of the Lancaster Bomber
• 1:1 tuition from your experienced simulator instructor

• Genuine Lancaster headset enabling communication with your instructor

Lancaster Bomber Experience

• 30 minute session in the simulator
• Take off and fly the Lancaster under the guidance of the simulator instructor
• Test your skills by flying under the Severn Bridge and return back to try your hand at landing
• Allow approximately one hour on site for this experience

Ultimate Lancaster Bomber Experience

• In addition to the above, after a short break for refreshments you will receive a second 30 minute simulator session
• You will receive a mission briefing before testing your newly acquired flying skills!
• Fly low level over the same dams in Germany as the heroic Dambusters pilots
• Allow approximately two hours on site for this experience

When Is It Available

• Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year, subject to availability
• Morning and afternoon sessions are generally available

Suitable For

• No age or weight restrictions
• Under 16s must be accompanied on site by an adult

Spectators

• One spectator may accompany you to observe your session

Anything Else

• This is a fixed base simulator and does not move
• The simulator is located within an active hangar. All persons must be escorted when airside or in the hangar to comply with security and health and safety requirements
