Winter Skydiving Adventure in Devon

Prepare for an unforgettable experience with our winter skydiving offer! This unique adventure invites you to leap from the cozy confines of a plane, soaring through the winter sky in tandem with an expert instructor. From October 1st through March 30th, you can take advantage of this fantastic opportunity at Dunkeswell Aerodrome in Devon.

Your winter skydiving journey will begin with a safety briefing where our friendly instructors will ensure that you are well-prepared for your jump. As you board the plane, the excitement will build until it’s time to take the plunge! With each moment, you will feel the rush of adrenaline as you ascend to 7,000 feet, surrounded by breathtaking winter landscapes.

The cold, crisp air enhances the thrill, making this a truly magical experience. As you freefall, feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders, and then relish the peacefulness of floating back down as your parachute opens. It’s a thrilling rush and a fantastic way to create lasting memories this winter.

What's Included

• Tandem skydive from jump an altitude of 7,000ft
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• You will be with an expert British skydiving qualified instructor
• Freefall at speeds of approximately 120mph lasting around 15 seconds
• When the canapy opens, enjoy a peaceful 5-minute parachute ride
• A Super Cessna Caravan aircraft is used at this site
• Provisional membership to the British Skydiving
• British Skydiving insurance is not included and must be paid when booking your date (currently £24.23, subject to change)
• Allow a minimum of 3 hours for the full experience but be prepared to spenda full day depending on weather conditions

When Is It Available

• This off-peak experience is available from 1st October - 30th March
• Vouchers are valid for use on selected Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
• Due to popularity it is recommended you book at least four weeks in advance
• Bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions

Upgrades to take the experience on a weekend or in the peak season can be arranged when booking your date

• £60 upgrade to weekend
• £20 Upgrade to non off-peak

Suitable For

• Maximum weight is 18 stone (there is a surcharge for guests over 15 stone of £20 per stone and this is payable onsite)
• Minimum age is 16 years and there is no upper age limit
• If you are aged between 16 and 18 you must obtain a parent or guardians consent
• All participants are to self declare level of fitness to partake in the experience, these forms are 115a and 115b
• If you are unable to self-declare these forms, due to the terms of the form, you are required to take form 115b to your doctor to sign

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch
• No pets are allowed on site

Anything Else

• The site has toilet, changing facilities and a fully licensed cafe and bar
• Have a permanent record of your first jump by having a professional cameraman accompany you in freefall, at an extra cost of £140 payable on site
• Recordings need to be booked in advance to be guaranteed
• Videos or Photos are charged at £140
• Video and Photos are charged at £185
• It can not be guaranteed that customers will be on the same plane even if the same flight time is booked
• Group boarding is dependant on height and weight.  Upon check -in same flight boarding can be requested at a charge of £10 per person, subject to availability
