What's Included
Create Your Own Coffee Blend
- Learn about speciality coffee and how it's roasted
- Coffee Cupping Session with a selection of freshly roasted coffee's
- Create your own blend of coffee using a process known as wet blending
- Blend your beans before they are ground (or kept in whoebean)
- Choose a name for your very own coffee blend
Barista Basics Coffee Workshops
- 2.5 hour workshop, including a hands-on section working on the Espresso machine
- Introduction to speciality coffee, how it's grown, processed, roasted and ethically sourced
- Learn about dosing, taming, tamping and how to spot over and under extraction
- Understand how and why to change your coffee to water ratio to achieve different espresso 'style' shots
- Brief introduction to steaming and texturising milk
- Finish with a 'drinks-off' explaining the differences between popular drinks and an opportunity to make all of them using tips and tricks learnt from the workshop
