Beginner's Taster Sailing Day in Poole

Throughout the day, you'll be hands-on at the helm, steering your own course while receiving guidance from our highly trained instructors. They are passionate about sailing and dedicated to sharing their knowledge and skills with you. What's Included

• Full-day dinghy sailing course
• Learn the basics of sailing from a qualified instructor
• You will be sailing in Wayfarer dinghy or equivalent
• Topics include launching techniques and steering taking into account factors such as wind direction, tides, currents and other craft out on the water
• One instructor per three participants

When Is It Available

• Saturdays between March and November
• Courses start at 09:30 finishing at 17:00

Suitable For

• Minimum age 18
• If you can get in the dinghy, you can sail it
• There are no fitness restriction to sail as you will always be wearing a buoyancy aid
