Lorry Driving Experience

Step into the driver's seat of a true road giant with our exhilarating lorry driving experience! Have you ever wondered what it feels like to control an 18-tonne lorry? Now is your chance to find out. This unique experience allows you to maneuver a bit of highway heavyweight on a specially designed track!

You'll start your day at one of our exciting locations: either the dynamic Tockwith circuit or the scenic Abingdon track. Under the guidance of skilled instructors, you'll learn essential driving techniques, from mastering slalom courses to perfecting tricky reversing maneuvers. The thrill of piloting a lorry is an experience like no other, combining skill, concentration, and a real sense of achievement.

As you navigate the circuit, feel the power of the 18-tonne vehicle at your fingertips. With fully automatic transmission, you'll focus on the excitement of driving without worrying about complicated gear changes. This is not just about driving; it's about embracing the adventure and gaining a new perspective on these behemoths of the road!

What's Included

Lorry Experiences

• Drive a 45ft truck with trailer or a supercar transporter 
• The lorry has automatic transmission
• Complete a lap of the lorry driving course with obstacles and reversing challenge
• Briefing and tuition from a professional lorry driver
• Approximately 15-20 minutes at the controls including a short in cab briefing
• You may form part of a small group of 3 and will ride in the lorry as a passenger when not driving
• Please allow approximately one hour on site for this experience

When Is It Available

• Lorry Experience: Selected weekday and weekend dates throughout the year
• All dates and session times are subject to availability
• Sessions operate between 08:30 and 15:30
• This is a popular experience which may need to be be booked well in advance

• Minimum age 16
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum height 4ft 5ins
• No driving licence is required

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch from the trackside
