Exciting Light Sports Flying Lessons in Southampton

Get ready for an exhilarating flying experience that will leave you buzzing with excitement! Our flying lessons take place at Lower Upham Airfield, a charming base nestled in the heart of Hampshire. You'll take to the skies in our modern Ikarus C42 aircraft, designed for comfort and performance, making your journey not just a lesson but a true adventure.

Whether you're a curious beginner or an aspiring pilot, we offer you the chance to book lessons for either 30 or 60 minutes. During your time in the cockpit, our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of flying. You'll get hands-on experience, learning how to control the aircraft while enjoying breathtaking views of the Solent and the stunning landscape beneath you.

As a unique option, we also provide the exciting landaway experience. This fantastic add-on allows you to land at a different airport before making the return flight. It's the perfect way to expand your flying experience and enjoy a mini-adventure in the air!

What's Included

• Trial flying lesson in an Ikarus C42 'microlight' class aircraft

• Land at a different airfield for a short break before returning to Lower Upham for the ultimate flight experience

When Is It Available

• Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year excluding Mondays
• All flights are subject to availability and weather conditions

Suitable For

• Minimum age 12
• Under 18s must be accompanied on site by an adult
• Maximum height 6'4"
• Generally the maximum weight is 14 stone, should you be close to this limit please contact Into the Blue for further information
