What's Included

• Flight experience in an open-cockpit vintage Tiger Moth in Northumberland
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• Get kitted up in a flight suit, hat and goggles
• Fly in the front seat of the Tiger Moth with your highly qualified and experienced pilot
• 30 and 45 minute flights are available
• Fly over some of Northumberland's iconic landmarks
• Flight times are for stated durations

Examples of routes (subject to flight times) :

• Coast and Castles Views of Amble Harbour, Warkworth Castle, Alnwick Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Bamburgh Castle
• Bays and Bridges Views of Morpeth, St James' Park, Tyne Bridge, Millennium Bridge, The Sage, The Baltic, Tynemouth Priory and the coast
• Bespoke Routes Specific routes can be designed just for you

When Is It Available

• Weekdays and weekend throughout the year
• Flight experiences are subject to availability and weather conditions
• If weather conditions are unsuitable your flight will be rescheduled

Please note: Flights are fully booked for the remainder of the 2024 season. Bookings will resume in April 2025.

Suitable For

• Minimum age 14
• Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
• Maximum weight 18 stone
• Participants must sign a declaration prior to flying

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to watch your take off and landing from the viewing area
• The airfield is dog friendly, but all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times

Anything Else

• Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
• Light snacks and refreshments can be purchased from the onsite café (open Thursday to Sunday) or pre-book a delicious afternoon tea
