Welcome to your first taste of wing surfing in the stunning coastal setting of Brighton! During this three-hour session, you will embark on an exhilarating journey to discover the joy of wing surfing, whether you're a total novice or have some experience under your belt.
This lesson begins on land, where you'll learn how to control the wing and understand its movements in a safe environment. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, it’s time to hit the water! You’ll combine your newfound skills and take to the waves, gliding on the board as the wing catches the wind, giving you that incredible sense of freedom.
Our passionate instructors will be by your side every step of the way, providing guidance and support to help you make the most of your wing surfing adventure. Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of wind!
What's Included
- Introduction to the sport of wingsurfing
- Tuition from RYA Wing Foiling Instructors
- The course is split into two parts; flying the wing ashore, and getting afloat
- Sail across the wind kneeling
- Performing a basic gybe
- Perform a self rescue
- Introduction to standing
- All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits
- You will form part of a small group of up to 6 participants
- Session last approximately two hours (not including changing time)
