Experience Birds of Prey in Hertfordshire

Prepare to be captivated as you meet and interact with some of the world's most stunning birds of prey in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. This two-hour experience allows you to engage with various raptors, learning about their unique characteristics and behaviors from passionate experts.

As you walk through the lush grounds of Westmill Farm, you’ll have the chance to witness these majestic creatures in flight. Feel the thrill as you handle the birds and learn how to fly them, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Ideal for families, friends, and wildlife enthusiasts alike, this hands-on experience offers both fun and insight into the fascinating lives of these incredible birds.

What's Included

• Educational and informal bird of prey demonstration
• Opportunity to handle and fly a variety of Birds of Prey including hawks, falcons, owls and an eagle on the glove
• Participants will handle and fly at least 2 different species of birds of prey, depending on the group size
• Plenty of photo opportunities
• Allow up to two hours for this experience
• You will be part of a group of up to 20 participants

When Is It Available

Suitable For

• Minimum age 10
• Under 17's must be accompanied by a participating or spectating adult

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome for a £15 fee payable by cash on the day
• Children under the age of 10 are free but must be accompanied by an adult that has purchased a spectator pass

Anything Else

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked session time
• Sensible outdoor clothing and covered in footwear should be worn
• The centre boasts a five star animal welfare licence
• Animal Welfare Licence AW055 issued by Fenland District Council
