What's Included

• Instruction from a licenced and DBS checked instructor
• Free access to an online training module, so the whole family can continue learning at home
• Sessions and courses are exclusive for your family so you receive the best fishing tuition and the best chance of catching plenty of fish

Introduction to Fishing

• Three hour session for up to 6 people
• Learn how to set up the equipment and everything you need to know to go off on your next fishing adventure
• Your instructor will show you how to catch fish, and also how to return them safely
• You will fish using good quality simple equipment that it yours to keep at the end of the fishing lesson
• Equipment provided: Fishing pole, 2 ready to use rugs and an unhooking tool, box of spare hooks, weights and floats, a landing net and a fish welfare mat

Two Day Fishing Course

• Two day course consisting of 4 modules
• Each module has an online study section that you study in your own time and an instructor lead fishing lesson
• Each online fishing module typically takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete
• Instructor lead fishing lessons are 3-4 hours each with discussion /demonstration time as well as plenty of fishing time
• All equipment and bait is provided
• Refreshments are provided with a break for lunch (not included, please bring a packed lunch or food can be pre-ordered from the on-site cafe)
• A minimum of 3 vouchers must be purchased for this experience

Course schedule

• Day One - Morning: Pole & line equipment, Basic baits, getting ready to fish, casting and catching your first fish, handling fish
• Day One - Afternoon: Rod & reel equipment, float fishing, casting further, landing nets, photographing fish
• Day Two - Morning: Quiver tip rods, ledger rigs, swimfeeders, mixing groundbait, quiver tip fishing
• Day Two - Afternoon: Electric bite alarms and bobbins, self hooking rigs, preparing pellets, bair hair rig, weighing fish

• Courses start at 09:00 finishing around 17:00 daily

Suitable For

• Introduction to Fishing: Minimum age 6
• Two Day Fishing Course: Minimum age 8
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
• Please specify when booking if your group is made up of a mixure of adults and children or all adults so the course can be tailored to your requirements
