Your child will embark on a delightful fishing journey at the stunning Swinton Park Estate. Designed specifically for kids aged 16 and under, this four-hour experience promises to spark their interest in the joys of fishing. Whether they’re complete beginners or have some experience, our enthusiastic, expert anglers will provide tailored coaching to suit every level.
As they learn the ins and outs of fly fishing, your little ones will develop new skills while enjoying the serene surroundings of the estate. With the gentle guidance of our friendly instructors, they'll feel the excitement of casting their first line and perhaps even reeling in their first catch. Plus, parents are encouraged to join in on the fun, making it a wonderful family bonding experience.
The program is designed to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where children can explore the thrill of fishing, make new friends, and create lasting memories in nature.
What's Included
- Half day junior fishing experience
- Expert tuition from your Northern Fishing Scool casting guides
- Learn about safety, casting and fish welfare
- Fish for trout on the home lake next to The Swinton Hotel
- Fishing equipment and your fishery ticket is included

- Sessions last four hours
- You will form part of a small group of 6 participants for this experience with two fishing guides
When Is It Available
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- The lake at Swinton Estate (Trout) is open all year round
- Sessions start at 10:00 finishing at 14:00

- There is no minimum age however it is the parents responsibility to determine if their child is capable and willing to participate in this experience

Anything Else
- It is recommended that participants bring water and food with them
- A deposit of your fishery ticket will be charged if dates are postponed (Lake fishing £25 per person)
- Please note once you have booked your date if you cancel the reservation for any reason 25% of the voucher value will be retained by the Fishing School
