Tank Driving Adventure in Scotland

Prepare yourself for an exhilarating day filled with adrenaline and excitement! Your tank driving experience begins at the picturesque Bridge of Weir, where the lush Scottish scenery sets the perfect backdrop for this unique adventure.

You will have the incredible opportunity to take the driver’s seat of an ex-British Army FV432 tank, a true military marvel. Feel the rumble and vibrations as you handle this full-tracked tank, learning how to maneuver it through various terrains. It’s not just about driving; it’s about mastering the machine and enjoying every moment of the experience!

But that’s not all! You won’t just be in command; you can also ride in the crew bay with friends or family, sharing in the excitement and taking in the sights from a whole new perspective. Whether it's your first time or you're a seasoned thrill-seeker, this tank driving experience is guaranteed to leave you with lasting memories that you will cherish!

What's Included

• Drive an ex-British Army APC 432 tank
• Field briefing will given before your tuition
• Tuition from an experienced instructor
• Drive the tank for one circuit of the course through water (depending on weather and time of the year) and over steep inclines
• Allow approximately one hour for this experience with up to 20 minutes drive time
• Please note drive time is dependant on the speed you drive.  The circuit can be completed quicker however this is not recommended
• You will form part of a small group for this experience
• When you are not driving you will ride in the crew compartment of the tank as a passenger

When Is It Available

• Selected weekends throughout the year
• Dates and session times are subject to availability
• Experiences operate in most weather conditions (snow may affect the event)

Suitable For

• Minimum age 16
• Drivers must be over 5ft (152cms)

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to observe from the viewing gallery
• Tank rides are available for £10 per person, payable on the day 

Anything Else

• Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
• Participants must bring a printed cody of their voucher on the day.  Mobile phone signal is weak in the area so digital copies are not suitable
