Your adventure begins with a safety briefing to ensure you're comfortable and informed. Then, it’s time to hop into the cockpit of a Schweizer helicopter! You’ll have the chance to take control and feel the thrill of flying.

Depending on the duration of your lesson, you can expect to learn the basics of helicopter flight, including hovering, climbing, and descending. It’s all about hands-on experience, and our instructors are ready to encourage you and share their passion for flying.

What's Included

• Trial flying lesson in a 2 seater Schweizer S300CBi helicopter
• 30 and 60-minute flight durations are available
• Fly the helicopter around the local area
• Tuition from an experienced and qualified pilot
• Take control of the helicopter whilst airbourne
• Pre-flight ground briefing
• Opportunity to try hovering on return to the airfield
• Flight certificate as a momento of your day

When Is It Available

• Flights are generally available 7 days a week, weather permitting
• Dates and session times are subject to availability

Suitable For

• Minimum age 14
• Under 18s must be accompanied on site by an adult
• The helicopter is ideal for larger, taller people and can accommodate weights up to 17 stone
• For participants exceeding 17 stone please advise at point of booking, higher weights may be available with prior notice – maximum 20 stone
• Participants will need to be physically able to get in and out of the helicopter, not restrict control movements and be able to fasten their seat belts
• If in doubt please seek the medical advice of a GP prior to flying
