Paddleboarding Adventures at Lee Valley

At Lee Valley, paddleboarding is more than just a water sport; it’s a chance to connect with nature while having a blast on the water. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience under your belt, our expertly guided sessions ensure that everyone can take part in the fun.

Our scenic location in Hertfordshire offers a tranquil environment, making it an ideal place for your first paddleboarding experience. You’ll receive excellent tuition from friendly instructors who are passionate about the sport. They will help you get acquainted with the essentials, from balancing on the board to mastering basic moves.

What's Included

• One hour paddleboarding session
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• Test your balancing skills with up to one hour on the water
• Sessions take place on the crystal clear lake
• Sessions include activity equipment, helmet and buoyancy aid
• Allow one and a half hours on site for this experience

When Is It Available

• Valid for use on Saturdays and Sundays with weekdays during national school holidays
• Dates and session times are subject to availability

Suitable For

• Minimum age 8
• Under 12s must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times throughout their visit (including doing the activity)
• Participants aged under 16 must have a responsible adult (over the age of 21 unless legal parent/guardian) who remains on site at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the duration of their activity with one responsible adult to every four children (max)
• Maximum weight 18 stone
• All participants must complete a Flat Water Declaration before the experience.  Details will be provided when redeeming your voucher.  If under 18, a parent can complete on your behalf

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the action

Anything Else

• Closed toe shoes must be worn for this experience (No sandals, flip flops or heeled shoes)
• All participants must wear a minimum of shorts and a t-shirt whilst on the activity
• Wetsuits and wetboots are not mandatory, but are available to hire for £5 per person, payable on the day
• There are onsite food outlets where food and refreshments can be purchased with great views of the lake
• On site kids play area and the beautiful nearby River Lee Country Park
• Disc Golf Course pay on the day activities are available to enjoy, subject to availability
