Paddleboarding at Tees Barrage

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn the fundamentals of paddleboarding in a safe and engaging environment.

From mastering the basics of balancing on your board to navigating gentle waves, this session is designed for everyone. You'll be equipped with all the necessary gear, including a high-quality paddleboard, paddle, and safety equipment. Feel the rush of the water as you glide across the surface, soaking in the beautiful views of Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesborough.

Expect plenty of support and encouragement from your friendly instructors, who will ensure that you not only learn but also have a blast while doing it. Bring your friends or make new ones as you share laughs, challenges, and unforgettable moments on this exciting paddleboarding journey!

What's Included

• Two hour paddleboarding session
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• Learn the basics and have fun on the water
• Tuition from experienced and qualified instructors
• Westuit, helmet, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket, board and paddle are  provided

When Is It Available

• Selected weekdays and Saturdays throughout the year
• Opening Times: 09:00-17:00 throughout the summer (09:00-16:30 Nov-Mar)

Suitable For

• Minimum age 10
• Participants must be able to swim 25 metres unaided
• A minimum of 2 vouchers must be purchased for this experience
• You will form part of a group of up to 8 participants

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch

Anything Else

• Please bring swimwear and trainers, which you don't mind getting wet, a towel and a change of clothing
• Onsite shower and changing facilities
• Refreshments and snacks can be purchased from the on site cafe with views over the River Tees
• Lockers are available for 20p
