What's Included

• Trial flying lesson in a 2 seater Cessna 150 or 4 seater Piper PA28
• Informal briefing on the route to be flown followed by a walk round inspection of the aircraft
• Once inside you will be shown all of the flying controls before starting the engine
• Taxi the aircraft, under close supervision of your instructor, to the runway
• Once airbourne you will have the opportunity to take the controls of the aircraft, u sually flying it for the majority of the flight
• A personalised certificate on completion of the flight
• Opt for a 4-seater flight and the pilot will usually allow you to take an interested friend or relative to observe the lesson from the rear seat

When Is It Available

• Selected weekdays (Tuesday to Friday) and Saturdays throughout the year
• Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions

Suitable For

• Minimum age is 14 years to count towards PPL
• 13 year olds, may be accommodated if requested
• Maximum weight for 2 seater flights is 14 stone
• Maximum weight for 4 seater flights is 18 stone
• There is a maximum height of 6ft 6ins

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come and watch the flights
• There is an excellent lounge and bar on-site, open between 9:00 and 22:00, 7 days a week
• Hot and cold food is available to purchase
