What's Included

• Trial flying lesson in a light aircraft
• 45 and 60-minute options are available
• Welcome, introduction to the aircraft and pre-flight briefing
• The instructor will handle the take off
• You will take the controls for the majority of your selected flight
• After the flight there will be a debrief with your instructor

2-Seater Lesson

• Flights are taken in a Pipistrel Explorer

4-Seater Lesson

• Flights are taken in a Diamond DA40 Diamond Star
• A guest can join the flight and observe the lesson from the rear seats (maximum weight limit applies)

When Is It Available

• Experiences are available on most weekdays and weekends throughout the year
• Your booking will be rescheduled in the case of bad weather
• Please check on the morning of your flight to ensure weather conditions are suitable

Suitable For

• Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
• Photographic ID may be requested on the day

2 Seater Restrictions

• Minimum age is 14 years
• Maximum height of 6ft 4ins
• Maximum weight limit of 16 stone

4 Seater Restrictions

• Minimum age 12
• For participants aged 12-13 an adult must accompany you as an observer in the aircraft
• Maximum height of 6ft 4ins
• Maximum participant weight limit 18 stone
• Four seater flights allow for one passenger with a maximum weight of 15 stone (at the pilot's discretion)

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to attend
• With views of the runway you are welcome to bring cameras to capture images of the participant in the aircraft

Anything Else

• For those over 14 lessons count towards hours for your PPL (private pilots licence) should this be of interest
