Scenic Flying Lessons in North Wales

Get ready for a flying adventure like no other! As you take to the skies, your experienced instructor will guide you through every aspect of flying a Piper light aircraft. You’ll not only learn the basics but will also actively participate in the flight, giving you a true sense of what it’s like to take the controls.

What's Included

• Trial flying lesson in a four seater aircraft
• Pre-flight briefing with your pilot
• 20, 40 and 60 minute flight durations are available
• Opportunity to take control of the aircraft once up in the air
• Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park and coastline
• If you live locally you may be able to fly over your home!
• Certificate of achievement that includes a record of your flight

When Is It Available

• Weekends and weekdays throughout the year
• Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions

Suitable For

• Minimum age for a lesson is 14 years old
• Minimum height is 4'6"
• Maximum 6'4"
• Maximum weight of 16 stone
• Please bring two forms of identity including a photo id, e.g. a passport

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come and watch the take off and landing
• It may be possible for a friend or family member, who is also interested in flying classes, to sit in the back of the plane and listen in on headphones (min age 14)
• This is at the discretion of the instructor on the day and subject to weight restrictions.

Anything Else

• Flight times are quoted 'chock to chock', ie. from when the plane starts to taxi, to when it switches off at the end of the lesson
• Visit the Caernarfon Aviation Museum (subject to entrance charges)
• Food and drink can be purchased from the onsite cafe
