From handling traditional tools to understanding techniques that have been passed down through generations, you'll immerse yourself in a truly unique experience. By the end of the day, you'll leave with your handcrafted knife and memories of a thrilling crafting adventure!
What's Included
- A one day knife making experience
- Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
- Learn the basics of blacksmithing and knife making techniques
- All tools and equipment will be provided
- You'll be instructed on how to use the fires and learn about heating and hammering your steel along with watching a demo before creating your own knife
- Take your knife home with you at the end of the workshop
- Tea and coffee are provided but you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch with you (a local pub takeaway can also be arranged for a supplement)
- You may form part of a group of up to 4 people
- Please allow 9 hours for this experience
