Traditional Blacksmithing Experience in Leominster

You'll discover the fascinating history of blacksmithing while mastering the craft step-by-step. What's Included

• A traditional blacksmith experience
• Choose from a three hour or one day experience
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• All tools and equipment will be provided
• Learn the basics of blacksmithing
• You'll be instructed on how to use the fires and learn about heating and hammering your steel along with watching a demo before creating your own trinkets
• Take your creations home with you at the end of the workshop
• Tea and coffee are provided but you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch with you (a local pub takeaway can also be arranged for a supplement)
• You may form part of a group of up to 4 people

Three Hour Experience

• Learn how to hand forge trinkets such as hooks and keyrings

One Day Design & Make Experience

• Design and make your own forged creation such as a hanging basket bracket, fire set hinges or an assortment of trinkets
• Please allow 9 hours for this experience

When Is It Available

• Three Hour Experience: Saturdays and Sundays starting at 09:00 or 14:00
• One Day Experience:  Tuesdays starting at 09:00
• Experiences tend to run fortnightly throughout the year, subject to availability
