What's Included

• One day welding course
• Learn the basics of MMA (Stick) and MIG welding in a relaxed and fun environment
• Tuition from experienced tutors
• Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
• You will be shown how to set up the machinery for both MMA (Stick) and MIG welding proccesses
• Learn how to prepare metal ready for welding
• Break for lunch (not included) please bring a packed lunch or food can be purchased from the nearby cafe
• Hands-on welding using the modern welding machines using clean cut metal for different welds
• Create your own model aeroplane to take away with you as a memento of your day
• Loan of a leather apron
• Welding gauntlets are provided that you can take home with you
• All materials are provided and refreshments are included
• You will form part of a small group of up to 6 participants

1:1 Welding Course

• Private course just for you!
• Cover everything you need to know for your preferred welding process and how to apply it to your specific needs
• Welding on a one to one basis with your tutor. This will include the correct way to run a variety of welds in different positions.

When Is It Available

• Group courses take place on Saturdays throughout the year with generally 2-3 per month
• Intensive 1:1 courses run on selected Mondays throughout the year
• Course start at 10:00 finishing around 17:00

• Minimum age 16
• If you are fitted with a heart pacemaker or wear contact lenses please consult your doctor or/and your optician before booking this course

• If you're travelling for this welding course, the operator can give acccomodation suggestions in nearby areas
• Participants should wear comfortable working clothes suitable for the environment
• Long sleeved clothing and steel toecap boots are essential
